My aquarium is leaking :(

When I push it around on the table it's all wet underneath. So I did what anyone would do, googled the problem; and it appears there are solutions but it's complex to fix. I don't really know what I should do; the only thing I can think of is just to suck it up and buy a new one.

But that's a lot of money.

A couple of nights ago Conan O'Brian gave away bags of 30 McCain Dolls to the 200 members of the audience. Tonight, Conan brought this up again, mentioning that he was slightly offended to see that one of these, inevitably (what was he expecting?), showing up on eBay. The entire bag, unopened.

I was curious to see how much this thing was going for, and so I went to eBay to check this out. When I got there, it was at $38, which I thought, was reasonable.

I refreshed, literally one minute(!) later, and it was already at $250. I was like, 'seriously?' at the time, but I'll believe it that people would spend that much for a collector's item (if it even qualifies as that?), and obviously the mention on the show tonight brought other curious people like me to the auction page.

Ok. Ten minutes later I refresh again, and it's at $20,000. Twenty THOUSAND dollars. Are you freakin' kidding me??

Now, it is at $10,000,100, and I'm thinking that this must be a joke. Please. Someone tell me this is a joke.

For the love of all that is good in this world, TELL ME THIS IS A JOKE.

ETA: US $99,999,999.00 ???? Is that even legit? Damn, I'd totally bid on this save for that cursed $3.99 shipping...

What He Did:
Alienating the entire PC Gaming Nation, CliffyB announced that, despite decent sales for the first Gears of War game and the small amount of effort it would take to port, the sequel would not be released for PC, citing PC piracy as the reason. In the same interview, Cliff managed to insult console gamers by pretty much blatently saying that they weren't smart enough to pirate things on the console. (Incidentally, he also slammed the PS3 controller in an effort to scorn everyone equally).

How He Could Redeem Himself:
Completely go back on his adamant word (which, incidentally, he did for Gears 1...) and release Gears 2 for the PC. His status could also be slightly improved with a decent effort on the Gears of War movie that he is producing.

A Little Bit of Sweet Justice:
Pirated copies of the xBox 360 version of Gears 2 were up on the Internet three weeks before its release.

Thank you! The COC pretty much said everything that I did in my previous entry regarding the situation, so that makes me strangely satisfied.

Seriously people, stop freaking out. And if you must, freak out about this at other times during the year so things can actually change.
